zodiac - post card

Having used the Hardens Key on the celebrity post card in the previous blog I seem to find it difficult to go any further while using their key. This may take some time to get further results on this post card.

However, as far as names go that may fit on the upper left side and lower right side of the card there seems to be three possibilities. I talked with Ricardo Gomez Monday night and we agreed that to put any names down might be a poor idea. All three names are included in Robert Graysmith's book Zodiac. Ricardo is working on the information I sent him about the Zodiac's real name being included in the first three cyphers sent to the Chronicle, Times-Herald and Examiner. This seems to be my best shot to date.

With every year more and more information is either lost or discarded and that makes it harder to find a solution to find the real killer. However, the one thing that sticks in my mind is the thought that why did the Zodiac wear the dickey up at Lake Berryessa unless he knew either Shepard or Hartnell and did not want to be identified by either of them in case one survived. Also when he parked his car near Hartnell's, why didn't he park closer so he didn't have to walk so far to get to where they were.

I hope the police made casts of the different tire treads and checked the different tire stores because usually on the sales slip they write the license number of the car.

There has to be a real good reason why the Zodiac usually killed the male first and then the female when there is a male - female couple.

Did we ever think that when the fisherman went to get help the ranger that came might have been involved?
